The Company was notified on 13 March 2008 that as a result of an increase in the Company's issued share capital, MCB Holding Limited's interest in MCB, which remains 11,531,486 Ordinary Shares, now represents 66.29 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
The above notifications were made on the basis of the Company's current issued capital, which consists of 17,394,247 Ordinary Shares of 10p each, all with voting rights. The above figure of 17,394,247 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
